| Details: | SUMMARY: He is now only reporting EP data, not source data DETAILS: Monmouth manages their high nitrate well by diluting with other wells low in nitrate. They were reporting source data, despite all three wells are on the same entry point. Only entry point results are required. A new reservoir is planned before the entry point in 2 years, which should aid in MCL compliance. ACTION NEEDED: 1. Continue quarterly (or more) sampling of individual sources in-house, but only report the quarterly entry point sampling results to DWP. 2.Generate explicit Standard Operating Procedures for PWS staff when nitrate levels approach the MCL. |
