| Details: | SUMMARY: COMPLAINTS OF LOW PRESSURE DETAILS: I spoke to Gene this morning to let him know that we are receiving several complaints about low water pressure. He said that he is actually on-site at this very moment working on repairing the system and he is dedicating this entire week to that end. Gene rented equipment and starting yesterday, is blowing out plugged sections of the main lines. He expects users to notice a significant improvement by this Thursday. I inquired if his contact with the circuit rider was fruitful and he said that it wasnt-- he didnt feel that this was an area of expertise for HBH. However he has gotten some good information from some other companies who work on water systems about possible treatment techniques. However he is concentrating his efforts right now on getting the system up and running again before investigating that further. I suggested he talk to John Wagner from Mountainair Water Association which is the system directly north of Brightwood Water Works because they have installed iron treatment equipment that has been very successful and due to their close proximity, they might have had a similar problem. Gene though that was a good idea and thanked me for the suggestion. ACTION NEEDED: I told Gene I would call the complainants back and talk to them. I will update Pete Farrelly at the DHS-DWP and continue to monitor the situation. | ||
