| Details: | SUMMARY: Owner to submit plans for well construction DETAILS: After reviewing treatment options, Mr. Thornton has decided to drill a well to resolve the Administrative Order. Larry Carey, Well Inspector for WRD in Bend Region (541-388-6669 x4) reports that a commercial operation can get an excempt use permit for up to 5,000 gallons per day. An exempt use permit does not have any restrictions on distance from the surface water body. The USFS has drillers logs for wells undocumented with WRD, and Mr. Thornton will submit those as part of plan review. ACTION NEEDED: Mr. Thornton to submit plan review information by May 15 including-- site plan for well, USFS well logs in vicinity, USFS Use Permit, and review fee of $150.00. DWP to review GWUDI criteria specific to potential well location within 500 feet of Olallie Lake. | ||
