Details:	SUMMARY: Backflow prevention rules DETAILS: The SMGV Water Company owns and operates a groundwater sourced water system. The system provides water to approximately 125 persons, as well as a golf course. Circuit rider was contacted by Nita Slater with the SMGV Water Company regarding requirements for the installation, testing, and regulation of backflow devices on their community water system. Explained the regulations as well as common practices surrounding backflow prevention devices. In addition, provided locations for additional information (websites). Later, Ms. Slater requested that I read what she had written in her water system newsletter to make sure that she was not providing incorrect information to the customers. ACTION NEEDED: Ms. Slater inquired about additional operational assistance from the circuit rider on other issues. This was forwarded to Bob Wilson, as he is located in the area.
