Details:	SUMMARY: Boil Notice Due To Main Break Resulting In Loss Of Pressure DETAILS: I received a call from Karen at Coos County who spoke with Bud Berliner, Operator at Belloni Boys Ranch. Bud reported a main line break that resulted in complete water loss to the facilities (care home). Karen requested I speak with Bud since Rick Hallmark was out of the office. Bud told me the main line had a major leak between the storage tank and the main building. Bud is repairing the line now and it should be back in service by this evening. Water has been out throughout the facilities because of the systems small size and lack of adequate valving to isolate the repair area. Bud plans to increase the chlorine running through the system, but is not able to chlorinate just the repair area and does not feel comfortable shocking the system due to the nature of the facility and the need for water. Given that information, I told Bud to post a boil water notice until he could get confirmation of water quality via coliform sample results. I emailed the public notice template to Bud on 6/18. Bud will collect the coliform sample after flushing on Tuesday and will notify me of the results on Wednesday. ACTION NEEDED: Further follow-up by Coos County. Pending copy of the public notice and test results from the operator.
