Details:	SUMMARY: Funding application assistance (letter of interest) DETAILS: Circuit rider was originally contacted in 2006 to provide brief evaluation of aging microfloc water treatment plant. At that time, it was determined that the plant was in need of major work or replacement to successfully treat the source water at all times. Currently, the plant is shut down during periods of higher turbidity. In addition, there is no online monitoring transmitted off-site. Circuit rider met with board members in April 2006 to discuss next steps toward replacement of the plant. It was suggested that they consider completion of a letter of interest for SRF loan. It was requested that circuit rider assist with the completion of a LOI for 2008 SRF funds. Reviewed previous water treatment plant evaluation and cost estimates. Updated cost estimates and provided assistance with completion of the letter of interest. ACTION NEEDED: Further funding assistance as requested.
