Details: SUMMARY: Responded to positive coliform alert- facility must perform repeat sampling and routine samples for next month DETAILS: Investigator transported 4 extra sampling bottles to the system to have them perform the repeat sampling. The operator stated that there are two wells that are currently in use and does not know why the third well isnt being used. The two wells that are still in use are the Huntington Well no. 2 (EP-BA) and the Port Well (EP-EA). The operator was told to take samples at each wellhead and one in the motel and one in the restaurant. It was stated at the time that this was a new person taking the samples. I had the environmental health clerk fax over the fact sheet about "Proper Microbiological Sampling Techniques." Follow-up will be performed after the results from these repeats. ACTION NEEDED: Repeat samples must be evaluated and routine samples must be taken next month.
