Details: SUMMARY: Operator will provide an "absent" coliform test before using water system after fire 5/4/07 DETAILS: A fire partially destroyed bldg. 1 on 5/4/07. According to the operator, the fire destroyed the electrical connection to the PWS well, shutting it off, and it has not been in use since. According to our records, the well provided drinking water to bldg. 1 and bldg. 3. On a site visit today, the contractor stated he was capping the line serving bldg. 1 and re-plumbing so that the well could continue to serve bldg. 3 with drinking water. I asked the operator to ensure a coliform sample collected in bldg. 3 was "absent" before providing drinking water to bldg. 3. ACTION NEEDED: n/a
