Details:	SUMMARY: TC Positive Alert Response - MCL Violation DETAILS: Spoke with Barney. He had collected one repeat sample on 7/10 that tested TC positive at the same location as the routine sample, and four more repeat samples on 7/12 that all tested absent, including another one at the same location. The two TC positive samples were collected at a frost free hydrant at the City Park. DWP is unable to invalidate the TC positive samples due to the second repeat that tested absent at the same location. I advised Barney to discontinue sampling at the frost free hydrant. The system discontinued chlorination a couple months ago in order to improve the taste/odor of the water. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to distribute public notice, collect five routine samples in August. DWP to remove chlorination treatment codes from SDWIS.
