| Details: | SUMMARY: E. coli positive routine sample collected on 06/29/07 DETAILS: 07/02/07- 4 repeat samples submitted to Neilson. 07/03/07- I left a voicemail for Mike Perry requesting that he call me back. 07/05/07- 4 repeat samples passed (lounge, spigot, shower, pump house). The chlorine residual was tested at 0.9 ppm. Mike had to switch from the normal collection area to the surface collection pipe due to unusually low water and believes that this was likely the cause of contamination. However, the change in collection sites should not have resulted in contamination if the system was working properly. Mike issued a public notice just to be safe and plans to leave it in place for a few more days and then collect some of the 5 routines this month. Public notice was not required for this system. ACTION NEEDED: 5 routine samples need to be collected in the month of July. | ||
