Details:	SUMMARY: alert total coliform present DETAILS: I received an alert today for more total coliforms present in 3 of the 4 repeat samples. Original total coliform present sample was taken 8/29/07, 4 repeats were taken 8/31/07. Ken called me to inform me of the results and his plans to use bottled water for now until he can shock chlorinate the system. I emailed him the total coliform public notice and shocking procedures and discussed permanent disinfection options. The sample taken at the well came back negative, he thinks the contamination is in the storage tank or distribution system. He plans to shock the system and take five routines in month of September. ACTION NEEDED: shock chlorinate system and take five routines samples in the month of September 2007.
