Details: SUMMARY: City Council meeting to discuss Arsenic Treatment. DETAILS: Gregg Fisher of Filtration Technology, Inc. reviewed treatment options with the Nyssa City Council on 10/09/2007. Well 5 in the Idaho Wellfield EP-A has Arsenic at 13 ppb, and all the other wells are below 10 ppb. EP-B Park Wells have Arsenic levels of 18 ppb but are not active at this time. Farmer Engineering of Boise was also present at the meeting and will be working for the City on the treatment project. The proposal at this time is to treat Well 5 and blend EP-A wells to meet the Arsenic standard. ACTION NEEDED: The City will be out of compliance with the Arsenic MCL when sample results are submitted. Plans for treatment will be submitted to DWP when completed.
