Details:	SUMMARY: Total coliform DETAILS: Jeff called this morning to report all five routine samples taken in December 2007 came back present for total coliform. He has shocked the well twice now and still has total coliform present results. He does not know any reason onther than the heavy rains for the contamination. The water system serves the office only and nobody drinks the well water, bottled water is provided. There is no public health threat as this is the off season for horse riding on the beach. We discussed shocking a third time as well as installing permanent disinfection on the system. He is considering installing a UV light in Spring of 2008. I notified him that installing a UV light requires a plan review approval. At this point he is going to hire Oregon water services to do a third shock on the system and take five routines in January 2008. ACTION NEEDED: Try to correct problem by shocking a third time, take five routines in January 2008. Possibly install permanent disinfection if problem persists.
