| Details: | SUMMARY: The routine Nitrate sample collected on 7/16/07 was over one half of the MCL at 6.95 ppm. DETAILS: Historically Nitrate sample have been over one half of the MCL for this system. I discussed this with Pastor Dickey during the last sanitary survey in December of 2006. I spoke with Pastor Dickey in November of 2006 reminding him that he needs to complete one year of quarterly nitrate sampling. He began quarterly sampling in the fourth quarter of 2006 and has now collected his final sample in the third quarter of 2007. I called Pastor Dickey and notified him that the annual nitrate sample should be collected in third quarter annually as it showed the highest level in the previous four consecutive quarters of nitrate sampling. Quarterly sampling is now discontinued. ACTION NEEDED: Quarterly sampling is discontinued. A nitrate sample should be collected annually during the third quarter. | ||
