| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform repeat sample on 10/10/07 DETAILS: On 10/12/07 I spoke to Dave from OMI (contracted water operator) regarding repeat positive coliform sample collected on 10/10/07 (received on 10/12/07). He said he took four samples and this was the only positive. This was from a different location as last time. All samples were taken from the distribution system. We discussed sample collection and potential contamination sources. He is planning to do a corrective action by shock chlorinating at a higher dose concentration and take an additional four repeat samples. He is also aware about the five routine samples that will need to be taken the next calendar month. He will call me once he receives the results. Jeff for OMI contacted us on 10/15/07 to notify our office that 10 samples that were collected over the weekend were all negative for total coliform. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of five routine samples the next following month and follow-up. | ||
