| Details: | SUMMARY: Five routine samples collected on 08/31/07 tested positive for Total Coliform. DETAILS: (Four of which also tested positive for E. Coli) Given the consistent nature if this problem I instructed Charlotte not to collect four repeat samples but to drain the storage tank and thoroughly clean and disinfect it (as the storage tank has been noted as a possible weakness in the system for some time). After cleaning the tank the entire distribution system was shock chlorinated and flushed after 24 hours. Approximately five days after the last sign of chlorine residual in the system two repeat samples were collected (09/17/07). Both samples tested positive for Total Coliform.
