Details:	SUMMARY: Alert: Positive Results for 4 of 5 Routine Coliform Samples 08/15/07 DETAILS: The Hood River County Health Department received an Alert by electronic messaging (e-mail) on Wednesday August 29,2007 @ 3:52 PM for Meadows Utilities LLC CSSA in response to positive results for four of five routine coliform samples collected August 15, 2007-- the samples were negative for E-coli and fecal coliform. The PWS was closed at the time of sample collection. The HRCHD spoke with the DRC on Monday August 20, 2007 and clarified the expectation to collect 4 repeat samples as well as dicussed shock chlorination. The decision was made to re-sample without shock chlorination. On August 22, 2007 the HRCHD again spoke with the DRC and learned that all the repeat samples were absent of coliform. ACTION NEEDED: The Hood River County Health Department will continue to work with the Meadows Utilities LLC CSSA operator to follow-up regarding repeat sample results, notifications, and subsequent routine monitoring.
