| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate Present on 10/26/07 DETAILS: On 11/05/07 I contacted the operator regarding Nitrate sample collected on 10/26/07 (received on 11/01/07). I told Marti they will need to test for nitrates for four consecutive quarters. Marti is already testing quarterly due to past nitrate values. Marti also mentioned that they switched wells to well #2 which has lower nitrate concentrations. We suspect that the reason for these values is that the groundwater level has dropped significantly in the shallow alluvial aquifer. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of quarterly samples and follow-up. | ||
