Details: SUMMARY: Two Repeat Samples Collected on 09/17/07 Tested Positive for Total Coliform DETAILS: This system is going though the plan review process and adding continuous chlorination to the section of the system below the storage tank only. Water will not be used for consumption (unless collected from on of the four connections above the storage tank) until the chlorinator instillation is complete and the water is sampled.12/26/07 - A site visit was conducted to find that the chlorination system has been completed (plans and photos on file with the Jackson County Health Department). The system has been running a consistent chlorine residual of 0.2-0.5 PPM for at least two weeks. A routine sample for the month of December was collected today. 12/27/07 - The December routine sample tested negative for Total Coliform. ACTION NEEDED: No additional action is required at this time.
