Details: SUMMARY: SRF Assistance DETAILS: HBH was contacted by system to assist with the completion of a Letter of Interest for the SFR. The system reportedly has inadequate water pressure at higher elevations. Also, it was requested that an evaluation of general system operation be completed. I reviewed operating strategy and distribution system map. Based on the range of elevations served by the distribution system, any changes to increase water pressure at high elevations will result in excessive pressures at lower elevations. We recommend that a water system evaluation be completed, including a computer based water model, to determine the most appropriate operation of the system including any changes affecting water pressure. Complete Letter of Interest for funding of the described study. ACTION NEEDED: None
