Details:	SUMMARY: Boil Water Notice DETAILS: Westport Water Association detected e-coli in a sample taken November 13th, 2008 (with a total coliform positive sample taken Nov 6th, this confirms an acute MCL violation requiring a boil water notice). Westport Water Association has been on a boil water notice since they incurred severe storm damage in December 2007, which eliminated their water source. For the past year they have been utilizing an emergency connection to the Wauna Water Districts water system. Neither system has continuous disinfection treatment in place. ACTION NEEDED: Both Westport and Wauna were advised to issue a boil water notice. Wauna is calling all of their customers and a reverse 911 call will go out to both Westport and Wauna customers. Wesport will post a boil water notice for the food service businesses in the area tonight and will distribute the boil water notice to their customers and to the Wauna Water District in the morning.
