| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate tested above 50% of the MCL at 8/6 DETAILS: This system has an on going issue with nitrates above 50% of the MCL. The system continues to test nitrates quarterly and will continue to do so even though levels have not exceeded 10 ppm through years of sampling. The operator and the Benton County are very aware of the situation. The system uses well #2 when nitrate levels on well #1 are in the 8 to 9 ppm range. The system goes back to well #1 when quarterly samples indicate a significant decrease in nitrate levels. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results of the next quarterly sample. | ||
