Details: SUMMARY: Arsenic sample 8/28/08 tested over the MCL at 0.044 ppm DETAILS: 9/22/08 A quarterly arsenic sampling schedule was established. I spoke with water system operator Steve Frupicka, 541-951-9201 and requested that he submit arsenic samples from both well sources so that we can determine if an individual well is the culprit. Steve will submit samples right away. I also notified Steve to begin quarterly sampling at the entry point in October. I sent park owner John Staver the attached letter and draft public notice. ACTION NEEDED: Individual arsenic source samples need to be submitted as soon as possible. Quarterly arsenic sampling needs to be conducted at the entry point beginning in the fourth quarter of 2008. Public notice needs to be posted by 10/22/08
