Details:	SUMMARY: total coliform alert DETAILS: On 12-2-08 I contacted Macy. The alert was issued on 11-26-08. They did not get the notice until this week. The system has been closed since 11-17-08. It is a seasonal system that runs from spring (May) until October/mid November. The reporting schedule does not reflect the operating season. Spoke with Evan Hofeld regarding the situation, since the system was closed prior to the alert Evan placed a recommendation into the DWP Compliance Committee that repeat samples do not need to be taken and the repeat schedule be removed or violation rejected. System states they will sample prior to opening next spring. ACTION NEEDED: Repeat sampling pending DWPs decision on necessary action.
