Details: SUMMARY: Positive total coliform DETAILS: 10/3/08 I called Triple Tree and spoke with the manager. They have already cut off use of water in the bar she was not sure about the restaurant status. I requested that she have the owner call me ASAP to discuss the situation. 10/3/08 Operator Dee Montero returned my call. She said that they had already chlorinated the system. Upon further questioning I determined that the chlorination procedure was not done properly. I explained the proper chlorination procedure. Dee closed the facility and proceeded with the chlorination. I e-mailed Dee the attached public notice to post. She will collect one special sample on 10/6/08. 10/7/08 Site visit by Mike Obereigner: Wanda and Dee were not on site. The restaurant PIC, Wayne, said that a water sample was brought in to the lab today. Liz, at Nielson, confirmed this when I called her on the telephone. I walked the property and noted that the septic system was not failing, there were no signs of excavation, and Dees boyfriend, Monty said that there has been no recent work in or around the water system components. 10/9/08 Mike Obereigner" I left a message with Dee advising that the boil water alert posting can be removed per Scott Curry. 10/14/08 Mike Obereigner: left message with Dee advising her to take 5 temporary routine samples this month. ACTION NEEDED: none
