Details: SUMMARY: 12/11/08 Carl called to report results of repeat samples DETAILS: Carl reported that 2 of the 4 repeat samples taken on 12/11/08 were positive for total coliform - one at the well. I sent him public notice info and discussed how he will need to shock the well but that he can wait until the temperature is above freezing and it stops snowing on 12/22/08? He will hand deliver the PN to all residents and advise the at risk senior population to drink bottled water and inform them that he will not be able to take corrective action until the weather improves. Carl will send me a copy of the public notice ASAP ACTION NEEDED: Call Carl on 12/22/08 to discuss shocking the well.
