| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform & E.coli DETAILS: System took 5 samples and 4 were positive. The one from the well was negative. Most all of the distribution lines have been physically separated from the system. The only remaining piping is the lines between the wells and to Specialties and the reservoir. The operator thought that the pigeons that have been hanging on the reservoir may have contributed to the reading. ACTION NEEDED: Operator to climb the reservoir to check out the screen and will batch chlorinate the reservoir to 1 ppm+. Boil water notice will be posted and bottled water supplied. Repeats will be taken once chlorine residuals return back to zero. | ||
