Details:	SUMMARY: Turbity NTU Exceedance DETAILS: DWP phone duty personnel received call from water system on 1/12/09 at 10:99a.m. reporting turbidity problem on Sunday 1-13-09. Stated to have provided drinking water from alternative source during incident. DWP staff gave report to Evan Hofeld. Evan emailed CCHHS on 1-14-09 for follow up contact. 1-14-09 Call to Al, situation was as follows: 1-11-09 1:00 am to 4:00 am continuous read turbidity measured 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 NTU after pressure filters. Maximum read was 2.0 NTU then went back down to .10. During high NTU the water was diverted to sewer. Correction done. NTUs, both on continuous read out and in samples, have been within allowable range since 1-11-09 incident. Chlorine residuals maintained during incident. ACTION NEEDED: Informed Al the required Tier 2 notice for treatment technique violation. Gave him link for the template, requested copy for CCHHS. Recommendations per Evan H: 1-2 extra bacterial samples, double check chlorine residual, document NTU exceedance on monthly operating report.
