Details:	SUMMARY: Meeting and Plan Review Site Visit DETAILS: Attended a meeting with Jesse Jones, Phil Carpenter (OEM), Ed Wegner, Dave Hill, Calven Shulda, Martin Boatwright, and representatives from Wuana Water District regarding completion of Phase I disinfection ($42,300) and cost estimates for Phase II tank modifications and spring development. This meeting was followed by a site visit to Wuana water district to survey new chlorination facilities, Peterson and Knapp Springs, and 100,000 gallon tank. Springs and tank need major work to bring them up to construction standards. Chlorination system appeared to meet construction standards. Once tank modifications are complete, a tracer study will be required. Contact time is estimated to be more than 30 minutes. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to provide plan review fee information ($750 fee) for Phase II, approval letter for Phase I, initial monitoring requirements for developing Knapp springs (IOC, VOC, SOC, radionuclides, and coliform required prior to approval) and to provide input on tank modifications. Provided all requested information on 03/13/09. Other parties present at meeting were tasked to determine cost estimates and submit plans for Phase II.
