Details:	SUMMARY: Verification of sample taps for plan review DETAILS: Firm went through plan review with Tom Charbonneau from state for UV light. Tom approved UV system and asked that I visually look at system and ensure a treated and non treated sample tap is present. Upon inspection of well and treatment system today a non-treated sample tap Is not present but a treated sample tap is present. Owner and I discussed the advantages to pouring a cement sloping slab around well head and place a protective locked housing over unit. ACTION NEEDED: Install a non treated sample tap before UV treatment. Email a picture of this addition to me and take nitrate and coliform sample from inside of store. Fax the results from the coliform sample to my attention and I will release and desist order for the use of your water for beverages and ice manufacturing. For four additional consecutive weeks test for coliform inside of the store to ensure the UV light is operating correctly. Then in 2009 continue with your quarterly coliform sampling and annual nitrate sampling.
