Details: SUMMARY: Arsenic sample 9/18/08 DETAILS: 10/28/08 Daniel Hough and I spoke with Carrie Youtsey regarding this alert. She indicated that just before this ample was collected there was an electrical problem with the main well that necessitated the emergency well be the only source of water during repairs. She says that Tom Jarmer, park owner, would call us within a day. 10/29/08 Spoke with Tom Jarmer and he stated that on 9/18/08 the main well was turned off for repairs and the emergency well became the only water source for the system for a period of about 24 hours. I advised that quarterly sampling for arsenic would need to begin this quarter because the MCL was exceeded and to blend the water before collecting the samples so that we can evaluate whether or not the arsenic level in the blended supply exceeds the MCL. I advised him to contact myself or Daniel Hough when circumstances arise that would require the emergency well be brought on line. ACTION NEEDED: Quarterly arsenic samples need to be collected beginning this quarter.
