| Details: | SUMMARY: Received update on Prescott from Kevin Miller DETAILS: I received the following email update on 06/25/09 from Kevin Miller: This is an update as to the progress as requested by Evan. A raw water sample and a treated water sample were taken to be tested for the plethora of items, and it is currently at the lab. The lab has not given us the results at this time. If the City Council approves, we are going to hire a well drilling company to pump one of our exiting wells, which is located near City Hall. This was one of the three wells that were dug in 1996 with FEMA money due to the 96 flood. We may go a bit deeper to see what we get because FEMA only allowed us to go to 300 feet on all wells. The last public notice, which had been edited by Evan, was distributed as instructed and a copy was sent via email to Evan, which he acknowledged. Also as last instructed by Evan, a copy is permanently posted at the entrance of town. As soon as we get the results of the raw water test, I will let you know. I will also notify Robert Henry so we can formulate our next step in this process. I hope to have the letter of intent for the SRL fund completed by the end of the week. ACTION NEEDED: System to report on the test results when received. Another updated will be needed on July 2nd 2009. | ||
