Details:	SUMMARY: complaint on water taste & odor DETAILS: John called to indicate that water in his Seaside hotel smells and appears dirty. Concerned about public health implications, and losing customers. I indicated that the City of Seaside has an algae presence in their raw reservoir, and that DWP and City have been in contact regarding follow up monitoring and treatment options. John previously contacted City, who say they are following up. I stated that it best for John to contact the City directly regarding up to date information, and that I could not indicate how safe it was to drink the water-best to follow up with City. ACTION NEEDED: None specifically, I will follow up internally within DHS to organize talking points for public inquiries to algae-specific calls.
