Details: SUMMARY: E. coli positive source sample DETAILS: Contacted Health Dept. regarding source samples collected 8/5 that were EC+ and TC+. On 8/6, Health Dept. staff returned to WS to collect 3 additional source samples resulting in 2 TC+ and 1 EC+. Health Dept. provided public notice information to WS operator and County Fair Board. Boil water notice to be posted. Water will be supplied by Water Buffalos from the National Guard and Army. Since it is physically impossible to shut off water to camp sites and provide water to restroom facilities, boil water notice will be hand delivered to each camper. After Fair event, County would like to evaluate well and storage reservoir to address issue. ACTION NEEDED: Follow-up with Health Dept. on corrective action taken by WS.
