| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: 7/23/09 Sample collected 7/27/09 Alert issued… I spoke with Paige and the sample was collected at the wellhead and all distribution samples tested negative. We discussed proper sampling technique. Daniel Hough and I will be going out to the system on 7/29/09 to inspect sample tap at the well head. 7/29/09 Daniel Hough and I went up to have a look at the system. I left the following observations and instructions for Paige on her voice mail. (1) Sample tap is not oriented downward and should be replumbed to do so. (2) There is a water leak at the #2 pump pressure gauge that is producing about a half inch of water on the floor of the pump house. (3) What is the white substance on the floor of the pump house? (4) Four repeat samples need to be collected ASAP, tomorrow. ACTION NEEDED: 7/29/09 Five temporary routine samples need to be collected in August. | ||
