| Details: | SUMMARY: Complaints lodged against Johnson City WS DETAILS: Several people in the inactive Johnson City WS complained about bad water. It was inactivated in 2002 and purchases CRW-Clackamas water (or is it CRW-Clairmont?) via a master meter. Individual houses are not metered. Water bill is included in their rent. CRW began sampling water quality parameters and coliforms in early September. No evidence of GW intrusion was seen, nor were any coliforms present. The complaints revolved around stomach cramping primarily. While Brian Johnson temporarily barred future water testing on his property out of frustration, he realized that simply exacerbated the problem. Therefore, he now allows CRW to sample his distribution system any time. ACTION NEEDED: No further action needed. CRW is likely to include Johnson City WSs distribution in their routine coliform sampling plan in future. But they still havent made any decision. |
