Details: SUMMARY: Lead & Copper alert DETAILS: 9/9/09 Spoke with Joe Woody regarding exceedance of lead alert level. He described his sampling technique and it was discovered that the system was not thoroughly flushed before the sample was taken. The water had been sitting in the system for a month or more. A request to invalidate the sample has been sent to Chuck Michael and a new sample will be taken by September 30, 2009 to replace the original sample. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor status of new sample to see if the alert level is exceeded again. If the sample is below the alert level, a 3 year sampling schedule may be maintained.
