Details: SUMMARY: Request Tracer Study, Discuss Challenges DETAILS: Asked Rob Henry of HBH to conduct a tracer study for the City of Coquille. Provided John Higgins phone #. Discussed branched flows in distribution system. Source has flow meter. Primary flow to Knowlton Reservoir w/o meter, branch to Crystol Creek Lane where flow meter is supposed to be installed this week, branch to Dutch John Reservoir w/o meter, branch to Dutch John Ridge w/o reservoir & w/o meter. Need to cut off flow to respective reservoirs while tracer study on each. May have to shut off water to Dutch John Ridge when reservoirs are being studied. May use pressure transducers to monitor water levels in the Knowlton and Dutch John reservoirs to calculate their respective flows. Only branch that doesnt need to be isolated at some point is Crystol Creek Lane, since it will have an effluent flow meter. ACTION NEEDED: Asked for copy of tracer study plan before field work initiated.
