| Details: | SUMMARY: Lead and copper alert DETAILS: Sample from space 29 on 8/26/09 exceeded the action level. The state believes this is a representative sample so we must proceed with the required water quality testing. We need tests performed April 30, 2010.pH, alkalinity and calcium from one of the wells and in the distribution. Two rounds a couple of weeks apart. It is important that the pH level is measured in the field as we are assessing the corrosiveness of the water. Lead and copper from each source. The above is the bare minimum requirement and the more data we have to evaluate the better. It is my recommendation to do water quality testing on both wells and at a couple locations in the distribution. ACTION NEEDED: Submit data to Marion County office. | ||
