Details:	SUMMARY: SRF Letter of Interest application DETAILS: System had an arsenic result over the MCL and Laura requested completing an SRF Letter of Interest (LOI). The running average (RAA) from the latest samples collected for 3 quarters was 0.01487 mgl. This is over the MCL of 0.010 mgl. The latest sample collected on 7/7/09 was 0.0130 mgl. I reviewed the arsenic sampling history, an electrolytic arsenic treatment system she may have installed and system history info she provided to me and helped prepare the LOI with her. Laura mailed it to OECDD the next day. The due date was 10/5/09, however, Roberto Reyes-Colon, DWP allowed it to be mailed in this week. I suggested she have the treatment supplier, Aquatic Technologies-- contact Tom Charbonneau to complete the plan review that was initiated in June 2009 under PR146-2009. Insufficient information was submitted at that time. I talked to David Orlebeke, Aquatic Technologies, about the system that may be installed as I am unfamiliar with the technology (electrolytic treatment/removal). ACTION NEEDED: Send Arsenic removal information to Laura for review. Respond as requested after that.
