| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform alert DETAILS: Spoke with Sharon regarding the positive repeats & Ecoli positive. 3 of the 4 repeats were coliform positive, 1 Ecoli positive. A public notice was issued to the system along with personal phone calls per Travis with Hoo Doo. The water system is faxing lane County a copy of the public notice. The chlorinator pump went out and a new one has been ordered and should be available tomorrow. The system plan on shock chlorinating/flushing the system and retesting next week after the 5 day period. The storage tank was drained half way down and refill with fresh water along with the proper amount of chlorine to shock chlorinate. Discussed the new Ground Water Rule (GWR) and required 5 repeat samples for system that use treatment. Mailed out the newest version of the coliform sampling plan. ACTION NEEDED: Public notice issued. Waiting for results of confirmation sample. 5 temporary routine samples required in February 2010 | ||
