Details:	SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: Received alert 2/1/10. All 4 repeat samples came back positive. Spoke with Lee and Grants Pass Water Lab is now doing the sampling. Unclear of reasons for continued positive coliform test. Will meet with son Phil in field morning of 2/2/10 to review next steps and assess situation. Met with Phil on 2/2/10 as well as Quinns Plumbing. Next steps include shocking well on 2/2/10 after shocking both storage tanks will be drained, cleaned and inspected. Soil movement/disturbance activities, above ground, occurring over past menthe within 100 feet fo well head. Recommended to always shock system after any soil disturbance activities or any maintenance to system itself. Will complete shock of system and take 5 more repeat samples in March 2010. Depending on those results and next quarterly test result, may recommend placing system on chlorinator. ACTION NEEDED: See above
