Details:	SUMMARY: LT2 UV Light Addition Investigation DETAILS: The Bay Hills WA owns and operates a community water system serving 19 connections and an estimated population of 50 persons. Water supply for the District comes from unnamed springs feeding a small reservoir. HBH was contacted by John MacKown in regard to additional steps to be taken due to recent results of the LT2 source water testing. It was requested by Mr MacKown that HBH look into what steps would be needed to be taken if the water system was to be classified into the Bin 4 category for treatment. Visited the water treatment plant to assess the condition of the facilities, as well as determine the feasibility of installing additional treatment, such as a UV system. I researched approvable UV disinfection systems, including capital and operational costs, which would allow the water system to meet the Bin 4 treatment requirements. Provided system information regarding consequences of additional source water monitoring. ACTION NEEDED: Provide recommendations to the system regarding steps to be taken if decision is made to pursue Source Water Monitoring.
