Details:	SUMMARY: Corrosion Issues in WTP Building DETAILS: The City of Gates recently constructed a new membrane water treatment plant. Metallic parts within the WTP building have been showing an inordinate amount of corrosion. This includes all metallic surfaces, including aluminum, stainless steel and brass. HBH was contacted by Mr Bethin to see if this is something that we had seen before in membrane plants. I visited the treatment plant to inspect the corrosion issue, as well as look at the current ventilation system in the building and storage of the chemicals that could possibly be causing the corrosion issues. I discussed measures that had been taken by the City to attempt to limit the corrosion. ACTION NEEDED: Provide investigation of the corrosion problem.
