Details:	SUMMARY: Joe Carlson Spoke with John Salisbury about Haven Acres DETAILS: Joseph Carlson (DWP) had the following conversation with John Salisbury (Clatskanie City Attorney) as summarized by John Salisbury: As you know, I am the City Attorney for the City of Clatskanie. I am writing to confirm our conversations of today. The City of Clatskanie will make the repairs necessary to get the water going again to the Haven Acres Water System this time. You agreed on behalf of the Oregon Drinking Water Program that these repairs are made without prejudice to the Citys rights to dispute that it has any obligation to maintain the Haven Acres Water System. You also agreed to attempt to set up a meeting between your agency and representatives of the City. We request that this meeting take place as soon as possible. I asked you to contact Greg Hinkelman, Clatskanie City Manager, 503-728-2622, to arrange the meeting. I ask that that you provide to me any written opinions of staff or the attorney general concerning what your agency believes are the responsibilities of the City are with respect to the Haven Acres Water System. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to follow up.
