Details:	SUMMARY: Plan Review Inspection, Plan Review 74-2009 DETAILS: Amy Baker & Gary Burnett of DWP, met with Eric Evans, Malheur Co. HD, and Kim Lee & Broc Rinkel of Joy Travel to inspect the water system facilities. A building is now constructed to cover all the facilities including the well head, chlorinator, and 4 - 750 gallon storage tanks. The raw water sample tap is unusable in the present configuration and needs to be re-plumbed. The chlorine solution is NSF approved 12.5% sodium hypochlorite but a 50 gallon drum of full strength solution is being used and the solution pump is at a minimum setting. Therefore, a separate solution tank is needed to dilute the solution so the pump can be set at mid-range for better efficiency. The maximum pump rate is 0.42 gph. The chlorine residual was 0.1 mg/l in the well building and in the restaurant. The restaurant has been closed for several months, and the motel and mini mart have been using the water supply. Eric Evans inspected the restaurant and the owner will work to complete tasks needed for re-opening. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to designate final approval of construction. Water system survey report to be completed.
