Details:	SUMMARY: Technical Report for Lead Treatment Options DETAILS: System requested HBH for assistance with options for complying with LCR due to lead action level exceedence (0.0219 mgl) in samples collected 8/21/09. It appears that classroom #1 sink faucet is the only site that exceeded the action level in that round of samples. Previous sample results indicated elevated lead levels at individual sites. WQP and lead source water samples have been collected. The pH level is very low, 6.2, and alkalinity is relatively high at 96 mgl. Compliance with the LCR is required by Linn County Health Department and DWP. I prepared a draft report for Lead Treatment options using information mainly from the Revised Guidance Manual for Lead and Copper Strategies and AWWARF Lead Strategies. I sent the report to Rob Henry, HBH for review and comment. I met with Paul and Kim at the SD office and presented my draft report proposal. I emailed Brittany May at Linn Co with my proposal for input and direction. ACTION NEEDED: Complete report and await response from Linn Co on how to proceed.
