Details: SUMMARY: Two of five temporary routine distribution samples are coliform positive. DETAILS: Received a voice mail from Curt Duever on 08/12/10 that temporary routine samples required for August are positive for Coliform. Curt is going to shock chlorinate the system a second time. Curt was instructed that because this is a on-going issue that source sample would also e required with the temporary routine samples. He will be submitting the sample on 08/17/10. We went over proper chlorine amounts to using the web site calculator for chlorinating storage tanks. Curt was instructed that five temporary routine samples would be required for September. The system is taking bids for the installation of chlorine and possible UV. They have submitted plan review for UV and were told that plan review would be required before chlorination could occur. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor shock chlorination process and special sample after shock Chlorination is complete. Wait for results of temporary routines for September. Monitor the system for submitting plan review for chlorine and UV.
