Details: SUMMARY: Positive total colfiorm routine sample collected 9/21/2010 DETAILS: Karl called to report a routine total coliform positive sample result from a sample collected at the end of a line on 9/21/2010. Karl reported only the infiltration gallery was in use during the sampling 9/21 (not using gw wells). Discussed requirement to collect 3 repeat samples asap (original positive location, within 5 connections upstream, and one other site in the distribution ) according to his coliform sampling plan. Instructed Karl to call back if any repeats are positive. Also discussed the requirement for five routine coliform samples to be collected during the month of October. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of repeat samples.
