| Details: | SUMMARY: DBP Sampling Results DETAILS: Called John to discuss recent DBP sampling result showing elevated levels of TTHM. I had previously calculated the RAA and determined that the resulting value was below the MCL, therefore no action is required at this time. Bay Hills utilizes pre-chlorination to address iron, odor and color issues. We discussed the possibility of reducing the chlorine dose used for this purpose but maintain the reduction of iron ppt in the filters. Interestingly, the last time that higher TTHM occurred was this time last year, which may suggest some seasonal basis (TOC, temp, etc). I suggested that they explore lowering pre-chlorination levels before the level of DBP becomes a problem. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time. | ||
